About me
We moved to Coldstream in 2020, drawn in by the longhorn cows and quiet setting. I have an undergraduate degree in Finance from Ontario and have put it to work in our local area through appraisal of real estate and building local businesses that serve from Coldstream to the Shuswap. I'm no stranger to working late nights, making payroll, and balancing competing demands. My wife and I attend a local church in Vernon and are expecting our fourth child.

My Principles of Local Governance
Safe District
Aligning with our District priorities on community safety and data-backed decision making for crime, wildfire management and traffic. Coldstream residents do and should continue to enjoy safe neighborhoods.
Efficient Government
I believe in efficient governance that thinks long-term and minimizes the burden on local tax payers. Coldstream ranks slightly above average relative to other municipalities, while maintaining a largely agricultural tax base.
Preservation of Beauty
Kalamalka Lake, the Rail Trail, our parks and agriculture draw people to Coldstream. I believe in preserving these natural assets and keeping them accessible for residents to enjoy.
A strong addition to council.
Coldstream is a unique community, with rural character, nearby urban amenities and a rich history. My intention is simple: to contribute positively to the work ahead and serve my neighbours well.
From water security and drought resilience to infrastructure upgrades and wildfire preparedness, the decisions we make today will shape Coldstream for years to come. Good solutions require experience, creativity and collaboration.
Through my professional work I see how growth and land-use decisions positively and negatively affect communities across British Columbia, including Lake Country, Enderby, Salmon Arm, Revelstoke and Golden. Competent local government makes a meaningful difference for residents.
